Our Credentials
We take pride in our credentials and there are reasons why we think you should know them. First of
all, in today's dynamic software development environment and Internet Tools world everyone can
make a web site. What many people do not realize is that Software Development is an Engineering
Discipline. Engineering here does not necessarily relate to Mechanical or Electrical or Civil
(though in many regards it does.) We use the word as a metaphor for systems, processes, methods,
quality, control, management, etc.
Creating a complex application, even some simple ones, is not
a task for a beginner at all. Certainly, you can browse Google and Yahoo and find page editors. If
that is all you need then that is all you need. However, what happens when you need to write code,
which is almost all the time if you need to change the default behavior of the application? What
happens if you are automating a business processes or bringing it online or if you are integrating
your front end with back-office systems or databases or ERPs? What are the best, most effective and
defect-free methods for designing modern software? How to scale this software (significantly
increase usage or depth or breath), how to reuse software, how to test software for stress,
potentially damaging defects (you don't want your shopping cart to give money away) or
security threats? What about strategies for disaster recovery, business continuity, pandemic events?
Can you scan and enter product data through a mobile device as well as a web page? What does it
take to accomplish that? Are you using appropriate technology and is it adequate to your
investment needs? Are your business processes capable of automation? Can you expose them on
the web? What about the privacy of your data? Is it safe? Is it secure?
These are but a few of the things that concern the matter. It is not that only an accreddited and certified professional company may know these things is that
they know them well and they have the tools and the skills to plan, elaborate, create, innovate,
protect and support. It is all in proportion to what the needs of the business and the individual are.
A small blog to share some thoughts with friends will require a strategy that is very different
from an online store where customer data is fundamentally critical and product catalogs must be
safeguarded.

We are a small business providing Software Design and Development services since 1987 although as Madvox Ltd. we
exist since 2002. Our core competencies are indeed in the field of Software Engineering which is why our
portfolio includes Web Design, Computer Games and Applications. We have a combined total of over 40 years experience
in the field and we have worked for small and large fortune 500 companies. We are unique in that we have personal and
professionally unique backgrounds and we have a passion and complete dedication for what we do. We are diverse culturally and individually
and we have lived in many countries and speak multiple languages.
We were there shortly after Microsoft started, right there when the PC first saw the light of day and
right on the spot when Peter Norton created his Utilities. We have evolved with the technology you
use today and know it inside out and have in fact written humble chunks of it over the years.
