Frequently Asked Questions

Are purchases from this site secure? Absolutely 100% guaranteed. Not only are purchase pages completely safe (look for all the SSL, https and keylocks on your browser) and Verisign certfified but there is also a money back guarantee. We use a Plimus e-commerce engine for orders and they safely guarantee your purchase 100% satisfaction and safety.

Can I install your products on multiple machines? For the most part, yes (check product pages). Our licenses bind to you, as a person, not to a computer (unless specified otherwise for some products). Our software license automatically allows you to install the software on your main computer and a secondary one (such as a laptop) but generally, as long as you own the software and are the one using it you can put it on multiple computers. We do not want piracy but we also do not want to restrict you unnecessarily.

How do I get a full license when I purchase a product? For the majority of our products (see product page for exceptions) you would typically download the trial version and if you like it, you would then proceed to purchase. When you purchase the product, you will receive an instant e-mail with the product's full license.

I have received the product's full license but don't know what to do next. The e-mail you received with the license has instructions but for simplicity, our products automatically adjust the full license so all you have to do is simply copy the license file to the root folder where the application was installed.

A program crashes on start up and I cannot see why This is a rare thing to see because we take pride on high and meaningful program-to-user communications. However, if you see a crash on startup, typically a program requirement is not being met. Go to the program's page or contact us for more information. The number one offending issue is not having Windows up to date or missing .NET Framework updates.

Do your products work on Vista? Yes, our products are designed for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Furthermore, they should work on all editions of Vista and 7 as well as their server counterparts (2003 and 2008 Server).

What are the basic requirements of your products? Some of our products use native code (such as C++ 9.x+) and some use managed code (never below .NET Framework 2.x). Managed Code products (whose requirements are specified in the product's page) will always require the latest version of the .NET Framework.

Can I upgrade if I own a version of a product? Yes, if you own the Standard Edition of a product there should be an upgrade link on the product page with significant discounts.

I do not have the correct version of .NET Framework. What do I do? Prior to version 3.5 the .NET Framework is a Windows Update. After 3.5 it is an optional Windows update. Go to Windows Update and make sure the optional updates for .NET Framework are selected and just do an update for Windows.
